Interior

We've been working tirelessly on revamping the bus in order for it to fit our needs. So far the interior has gained most of the attention while we gather parts to complete the subaru engine swap.


The interior was pretty dismal when we first started. We bought a Vanagon on a whim and we couldn't believe how  much bigger it felt. We took measurements and realized it was only a few inches bigger. The light colored interior, swiveling seats…

The interior was pretty dismal when we first started. We bought a Vanagon on a whim and we couldn't believe how  much bigger it felt. We took measurements and realized it was only a few inches bigger. The light colored interior, swiveling seats, and better fitting cabinets are what really makes the difference. Time to put our touch on the interior of the Bus.

most of the interior is out at this point and it looks much more livable. We are going with different cabinets behind the driver seat. A custom headbanger (rear top cabinet as the 1975 did not come with one), and a oak finish on everything.

We reupholstered the cushions, and we will be installing these bamboo floors. Here is a test fit on the colors.

We found some rust that has to be fixed before we can instal soundproofing and all of the furniture.
